Spending a quarter of my inheritance on this dumbass iPhone thinking I could use it as a camera for streaming on YouTube as well was the worst financial decision of my whole life, and I bought a Pontiac fiero at one point.

Well I learned 2 fun things today. Our home alarm is too quiet to wake us up upstiars(why is there even a volume setting on this?). Kiddo 1 can for sure unlock and open the front door independently. It's good but fuck me that's a hell of a scary wake up.

In college, we entered theater from a downpour, with no plan of what to see. Had no idea what Diggstown was, spent much of the movie's first hour wondering if we had made a mistake. Then Lou Gossett began boxing guys, and by the end, we were all cheering our lungs out. A total surprise.

Took the kids to a playground in Les Halles today. Saint Eustache loomed over it, and there were very large and ominous ravens everywhere, staring at people and snatching baked goods. Extremely Goth playground experience

If I was the type of person who still went to a movie theater more than once every 5 years, and not the tired, anxiety-ridden lump of meat that I’ve become, I would definitely go see Megalopolis.
