Of course I had to take the opportunity to make this one an inkling! Despite it’s name, this cephalopod is not a squid, but more like cuttlefish. They a smol, 2-3in, and are both poisonous and venomous, secreting a toxic slime if bothered. #invertober #art #myart #splatoon

Her lids follow the characteristic wobbling stripe of the its eyes, which makes for a cute angry pout expression. The Fuchsia Flatworm looks like a colorful sea blanket with bunny ears. The little ear-like folds on it’s head are pseudo tentacles. Their aposematic colors warn predators of their bad taste and toxicity. The fuchsia color is made up by white or blueish dots on a red base. #invertober #art #myart

The Elephant Hawk Moth is beautiful olive green and bright pink, and immediately made me think of 80s fashion. The cute fuzz on their backs looked like a fun pixie cut. I think this one turned out less bug-like than I wanted. 🤔 #invertober #art #myart
