Yeah. Even when I'm right, it doesn't really work. In regard to something I wrote, a relative informed me that snakes are deaf, and I sent a cheery paragraph with multiple footnotes to peer-reviewed articles about current knowledge in snake bioacoustics, and it wasn't well received.
