The CFS one has many more experienced people and will help prevent common new-to-the-neighborhood mistakes that leave people worse off, sometimes permanently. Covidlonghaulers is also valuable, I just see more questionable stuff from clearly inexperienced people there. 3/

Yes connecting to community is key. On Reddit, Iā€™d strongly encourage her to read r/cfs in addition to r/covidlonghaulers, until/unless she has categorically ruled ME and PEM (even then itā€™s good awareness as those issues can develop later). 2/

I recommend spending time browsing the r/covidlonghaulers subreddit. There's a lot there. Mix of anecdotes and links to published studies. And much discussion. Learn and find the signal in the noise there
