This hornet popped in today. Never a common sight round here but this is the first one I've seen this year. Truly stunning creatures, & amazingly calm: methodically exploring the glass looking for an escape route. No agitation or wasted energy. #britishwildlife#invertebrate

Look! Waterford, LSA crystal chased with platinum, vintage 60s art deco, souvenir barware, $2 seasonal Kmart Xmas stuff, IKEA tumblers, charity shop oddballs, Bohemia lead crystal & at least two I made by cutting the tops off bottles. The common factor: they look cool & I can drink out of them.
Went over to Salem to make blown glass pumpkins today and they already look great. Eric did a black with blue combo and mine is saffron, purple, and another color. The crowds weren't bad, but we did park a mile away from Derby St and walked in lol Great way to cap 11 yrs married and 26 together ;)
