Perfect example: CBS's decision not to have the moderators fact check the VP debate. Instead they'll have a live blog that nobody other than political junkies will follow. All to placate disingenuous complaints by serial liars.
Or maybe that they are fantastically corrupt bunch of liars ๐ค
I mean, really. Look at her FACE. She's mad as hell and isn't gonna tolerate liars anymore!
So somebody put the 'Sexually Suggestive' label on my post. Which is hilarious, and says FAR MORE about the labeler than the painting. The painting is not erotic, people. Read the article appended to her wikipedia entry. She's naked - as in 'Naked Truth' and she's bearing a whip to chastise liars.
Seeing "recent" fandom politics makes me want to return to draw fan art full-time again. I'm so tired of giving chances to liars, only to ending up hurting myself in the end countless times. I'm done pretending everything is fine ๐
My question: There are way more grounded and factual talkers out there that gives listeners what we need to hear so we can act to help better our world. Is there such a fear of knowing the truth that we flock to liars and the willfully ignorant to avoid the task at hand? If so, what can we do?
