Heart, Haunt, Havoc by Freydis Moon was one of the best discoveries this Pride month. With a nonbinary and trans characters at the helm, and a great creepy haunting story to it, it made for a great June’s ending. | #pridereads#lgbtbooks#lgbtauthors#booktwt | 💙📚 BookSky Book Blog

7. Francesca Ekwuyasi, BUTTER HONEY PIG BREAD. Nigerian-Canadian story of intergenerational trauma and so much delicious food. I think this is my first #PrideReads without Akwaeke Emezi but at least I got an ogbanje story in somehow

Finished the Adam Binder trilogy by David R. Slayton, with the last book, called Deadbeat Druid. Overall a nice series, but not quite for me. Not quite dark enough to justify being this serious, when the titles are such clever little jokes. | #pridereads#lgbtauthors | 💙📚 BookSky Book Blog and Pride

deadbeat druid by david r. slayton ebook cover. red cover with scrolling and skulls on the upper and lower edge, and a modern looking stylized sigil in the center, a triangle with a growing tree, scythes, crescent moon. white framed tablet is placed on a dark grey wooden table, with various items strewn around, such as a teddy bear keychain wearing a progress lgbtq flag t-shirt, a lighter, pride flag confetti, tarot cards.

Andrew Joseph White has officially become one of my favorite authors. Previously having read the amazing Hell Followed with Us, I picked up another one, called The Spirit Bares its Teeth. Incredible gothic horror tale, set in 1883 London. IYKYK. | #pridereads#lgbtbooks | 💙📚 BookSky BookBlog

the spirit bares its teeth by andrew joseph white ebook cover. purple, black, and gold toned, it portrays a trans man in a gown, with a shard in his hand. Eye motives around the outter frame hint to the theme of the book. white framed tablet is placed on a dark grey wooden table, with various items strewn around. such as progress flag in a heart shape t-shirt wearing keychain teddybear. earphones, pride flag confetti, trans flag visible, a tarot card of Strenght. Finished the second book in Adam Binder series by David R. Slayton, called Trailer Park Trickster. Whilst not as creepy as the previous one was, it was still entertaining, and makes for a solid read. | 💙📚 BookSky BookBlog | #booksky#urbanfantasy#lgbtqbooks#pridereads
