Canary Wharf and surrounds, 2024 vs 2014. So much development has taken place in the past 10 years. #canarywharf#london#thenandnow

I’m a bit obsessed with this building in #CanaryWharf and its higgledy-piggledy windows, photographed with my iPhone this morning.

New building in Canary Wharf with golden diagonal wall patterns and higgledy-piggledy windows and balconies.

One from a lunchtime wander in Canary Wharf yesterday. So strange to have residential towers opposite office towers! #architecture#CanaryWharf#patterns#iphone15pro

Residential tower block in Canary Whatf - close up of a few square windows and repeated patterns.

One of the things I love to do when I'm on train or car journies is speed click photos out of the window. I often use the results as sketch prompts. I especially love doing this in London cos you so often get less seen views in of famous places. Makes you see them in a new way. Here's #CanaryWharf

In the distance Canary Wharf sky scrapers huddle on the skyline. In the middle ground an industrial estate, prefab buildings, a maze of iron fencing. A lorry is parked up and in the foreground there's a roundabout. A cyclist is just emerging from a road on the right to go round it.
