cant place where i read this, probably a 9million year old childrens book lol, anyway SOMEWHERE i read that pulled out of the water some dogfish would puff air through their mouths and make a "bark" and that this gave dogfish their name. your angle sounds way more plausible though!!
No, can't easily get them in the UK. Have you? Dogfish Head brews were made with extract. I have the book "Ancient Brews". All the recipes have weird ingredients and we disagree with the McGovern approach to ancient ales. My brewer husband has made a few brews using malted barley and meadowsweet. 🏺🍺
