An engagement.

I won't name names and I don't MEAN to make generalizations, but sometimes the most annoying types of tweets I'd see would come from artists themselves--be it their own bad takes, quote-tweet dunking on folks, or retweeting engagement bait from other artists--and NSFW artists were especially guilty.

OK. I can't help you with your frustration with your neighbors or your disdain for their voting habits and political views or lack of engagement with the things you think they should be. Have a great day.

Sometimes I'm still a bit "envious" of remaining friends on Twitter who've told me on Discord that they almost never encounter any awful takes, engagement bait, etc in their feed. Maybe that says something about ME and the people I used to follow (even though I limited it to artists and friends). 😒

My experience with microblogs: 1) Twitter - still the best option for art and some casual discussions 2) Bluesky - a lot of arts too but engagement is low 3) Threads - a lot of people sharing experience with autism, art industry/career and the city I live in 4) Mastodon - I used to like it but rip

but yeah, I do use Bluesky much more since I get far more engagement from here.

It’s weird. I’m on social.lol which is pretty small (800-900 users I think) - and I don’t really get much engagement, but that might be because I don’t have many people from bigger servers following me. I mainly just read posts there from people that aren’t here or ppl on Threads.

Depending on mood I might be selling my wedding and engagement rings tomorrow. And I might throw in a necklace and bracelet that were presents. 🤮

I'm kind of a grump ass today to be honest but I didn't sleep well. I just wish people wouldn't invent conflict to get engagement
