Having read Private Eye for 20 odd years I've always been bothered about it. Not an issue has gone by in that time that hasn't mentioned freebies from lobbyists. I take your point tho.. It's odd but quite illuminating how parts of the press are trying to pin it all on the Labour Party.

Watching an interview where Starmer is being pressed on his freebies. I just really want the interviewer to say "yes maybe your son did need a place away from home to study. Why didn't you pay for something suitable yourself?"
