so perhaps define the type then a type guard using typeof here? or are you suggesting a diff dependency this has no frontend but i was also using it as a testbed to learn deno/zod (latter cause my friend rec'd it), i could refactor for manual type guards np i'd rather take the lightweight approach

The security industry is starting to come up with guidelines for dealing with this shit. But I still see practices among 'data scientists' that shock an appall me. As a group, they're some of the least security-aware techies. Even worse than frontend javascript folks.
