A momentous day: the very first harvest of our small, 2.5-year-old vineyard. 🌱🚜🍇 Most vines are still too young to fruit, but for those that managed anyhow - fine results!
This seems intuitively obvious. Like, a plant can absorb and produce so much in terms of nutrients. If they breed it to produce bigger fruit or whatever, it's going to tend towards having less nutrient per kg. Strawberries for example. Store bought are 5x the size of homegrown, 1/5th the flavour.
