The weirdest thing about the show is that it's full of famous historical figures but they changed all of their names for some reason. Feels like watching a show about American history where the first American president is named Jeffery Bathington for no reason or something.
It was a political dispute. She overplayed her hand and got defenestrated. She did nothing uniquely bad. It was typical power politics, infused with family dynamics and wrapped up in religious brouhaha. She ended up on the losing side. The victors wrote the history.
Listening to a popular Country music podcast, and realised itโs much more enjoyable if you skip past the Childโs Basic Primer to European History sections each one starts with, and assume any time the podcaster mocks a record, itโll probably be the best track in the episode.
