Why do they hide under civilian housing?
Sharing House is not a large operation with a big budget, and they're going to be overwhelmed by local need for their services - helping people navigate housing programs, serving meals. To do their work as best they can under extraordinary circumstances, they will need help.

Existing clients who were housed before the storm are among the most likely to have lost housing now, since many live in low-lying parts of the county or in substandard buildings. Many locals will likely be newly unhoused. And thousands of others need food aid, a place to stay, and basic supplies.

No major plans today. It's time to change out the water filters and regen the softener. Should be a lot easier now with the quick disconnects we installed and we turned the filter housing around so it's easier to get to without having to unhook everything.
