Oh for those that like using the default name, apparently Metaphor ReFantazio's protag's name is Will as if you switch default languages then back to English (and I believe Korean) it names the protag Will. So there ya go! Enjoy Will's adventure.

Correct. All reindeer in the Nordic countries are domestic. Also, nordic languages don't separate between caribou and reindeer. They both have the same name, spelling ren, but pronunciation in the Swedish Lappland dialect sounds like "rein".

The tonal shift from a /v/ sound to a /b/ sound in Leyb, which is "L(y)ew" in most slavic languages and "Löwe" in Germany is so intriguing to me. But come to think of it, a /b/ is just a very closed /v/ lol? I wish I actually knew linguistics.
