Woah, what does it mean if we need to always have people who know certain programming languages? What does it mean if some languages can be forgotten?

php is one of the easier scripting languages and there are great (and not so great) resources for learning it (look into laracasts)

People keep dunking on the Dutch language and think they are being funny when English is a dozen languages in a trench coat that makes no sense.
And it’s in French!!! I recognize them and it’s cool that Merlin has languages built in!
I think it's set up all wrong to actually teach you new stuff. Have used it successfully to bring back some proficiency in languages I hadn't used for a long time, though.

We're a young state 1912 with deep indigenous roots and a Spanish colonial presence dating to 1540. Northern AZ (Phoenix-is late 1800s & Anglo) southern AZ ("Baja Arizona") very deep tribal and Spanish/Mexican. Spanish and O'odham were the primary languages here for centuries. Magical place.
