I actually think the President should drop all plans and go to the front lines in Tennessee and NC. If you’re able to cut one procedural step from the rescue and recovery process, and encourage first responders, you’ve helped. (The Vice President can and should do the same but at a different spot)

Me, watching the first episode unwarned: WTF?!? This is a... No, it can't be... Holy fuck, it is... Lucifer, an adaptation of the character from Sandman, is a cop procedural?!?! I didn't watch more episodes. I'm sure it's fine, but I ain't gonna watch cop procedurals on TV unless they're The Wire.

Two things can be true: 1) the guy who plays TV’s Lucifer is about as hot as they make white guys, Joel Kinnaman and Henry Cavill notwithstanding 2) making this into a cop procedural was a criminal act in and of itself

...from the procedural aspect of the show, which really makes it feel like it's two shows happening simultaneously that don't really interact with each other that much. Also...maybe it's just because I've been watching a lot of horror lately, but the murder mystery aspect feels a bit tepid. ^__^;;;

Watching MURDER IN A SMALL TOWN. It's a solid Canadian procedural drama, combining a weekly murder mystery element with some small town drama/romance. It's a little slow moving, and it's real novelty is the quality of the acting from Rossif Sutherland and Kristen Kreuk.

Every TV procedural with interrogations needs an episode where two of the interrogators switch bodies regardless of if the setting has magic or not
