I feel a bit weird about the comic book characters I followed as a youngster. Because I haven't really read comics regularly since my youth, I tend to think that I would be interested in very different characters as an adult. Nonetheless, here is the Silver Surfer.
We are also the "it is friend-shaped so it must be a friend. I will pet it," species. We are not the brightest stars in the galaxy, but we sure are curious and affectionate to exotic aliens.
