It was tasty! A milk gravy made with the drippings from the chicken fried steak. Mmmm.

We were going to have lunch. We ended up having an iced caramel latte and iced mocha (respectively) and an almond croissant and chocolate croissant (respectively). Lunch is for suckers, bring on the steak! 😂

Went to an expat shop for the first time today. Laughed out loud when I saw Gregg’s steak bakes in the freezer. Came out with Bisto, Daddies Sauce, Taytos, Dandelion & Burdock and proper bacon. Managed to resist the Scampi Fries. Am now a walking E number.

Here's the funny part: this whole "go to place, eat place's food in front of camera," thing, it's a meaningless tradition like kissing babies, it's *symbolic* It's the kind of gilt, the sizzle on the steak, the taco bowl photo op, that trump is only capable of perceiving.

Apparently I'm cooking steak and air fried new potatoes for dinner. The ingredients just appeared. I simply need to cook them. I don't mind this.

I for one, want Judge John Hodgeman to cook me up a steak in his Made In pan.
