Russia (and before it, the Soviet Union) spent immense effort preparing for war. Russia started the war with huge monetary (incl. foreign currency and gold) reserves and immese accumulated Soviet stocks of weapons (e.g. >13k tanks and such), built up over much of a *century*. And burned through it.

I genuinely think that things that one shot you and can't be interacted with unless you have crazy range (bombs, liter, charger, etc.) are some of the most unfun things in this game. Either you give less range to 1 shot weapons (like sword or squiff) or you make it not 1 shot like pen
