To me, the worst thing about the Grimey episode is that it's offering meta-commentary on a dynamic--Homer's screw-ups being admired and even encouraged by everyone around him--that doesn't exist in the show prior to the episode!

Did he... travel the country with his right-hand man, misinterpreting his experiences through the lens of his favourite genre fiction? Was he arrested in the past for improperly discharging a firearm at a local wind farm?

I played this for the first time this summer! Honestly, I thought they did a remarkable job of integrating the live action actors into the pre-rendered backgrounds (I think they knew it to, given how many different pieces of furniture Adrienne can recline on for no reason!).

Game and Watches at least had quality builds and fun little games that were designed around their technical limitations. There's a steep drop from Game and Watch to these cheap, plasticky pieces of junk claiming to let you play Double Dragon 3 or Sonic!

My own S tier would be "handball plus all combat sports except boxing," so we're at least aligned on Fencing and Boxing, even if I couldn't sell you on judo!

Haha, there was plenty of action just with Saito desperately trying to breathe enough to stay conscious--he was gassed like four minutes before Big Ted threw him and somehow just soldiered on. Then they got selected for the tie breaker and he had to go another four minutes at the end!

You'd think the movie reviews would've shown me the folly of trying to guarantee that you'd enjoy something!

Haha, that's fair. You've sort of got to imagine a video game HUD with a bunch of sliders going crazy as they struggle to get each other off balance. Also, highlights may not have captured how wild it was when the male super heavyweights went NINE full minutes before one of the scored!

I feel comfortable *promising* that you, a complete stranger, will not feel that way about the Mixed Team gold medal match!
