I finished my small series of 30 gouache paintings after 13 years without drawing/painting. I didn't put a time frame but I painted at least 4 times a week. It's not much but it's honest work. :) Now I'll take a break from gouache for a while to attempt drawtober/inktober using indian ink. #gouache

Set healthy goals for #inktober. Give yourself a time limit, a buying limit for supplies, and an emotional limit (how much ego you want to leverage.) Have fun and be open to learning. Don’t compare your outcomes to others. Remember some artists draw almost everyday, every month, every year.
