Last week, I finally received word that my school has approved access support for all my classes, instead of just for 10 hours a month. It took me 8 months of conversations and emails with my bosses and HR and the union to make it happen. Accessibility should not be this difficult.

I went and saw Peter Jackson’s KING KONG in the theatre. I had a lot of internalized ableism and was working through so much and was still learning to live with myself. I decided that if I could go to a movie by myself, it’d help somehow. And it did. I’ve become much more comfortable in my own skin.

Okay, this looks pretty cool.
