Last week, I finally received word that my school has approved access support for all my classes, instead of just for 10 hours a month. It took me 8 months of conversations and emails with my bosses and HR and the union to make it happen. Accessibility should not be this difficult.
I went and saw Peter Jacksonās KING KONG in the theatre. I had a lot of internalized ableism and was working through so much and was still learning to live with myself. I decided that if I could go to a movie by myself, itād help somehow. And it did. Iāve become much more comfortable in my own skin.
Okay, this looks pretty cool.
Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of the release of APPARITIONS. Itās my first horror novel, but it definitely aināt the last. āŗļø
