Two things can be true: 1) the guy who plays TV’s Lucifer is about as hot as they make white guys, Joel Kinnaman and Henry Cavill notwithstanding 2) making this into a cop procedural was a criminal act in and of itself
I always liked Ellis' little musical interludes.

Yeah. I love the comic and am not normally someone who is all "ackshually this should have been that" for adaptations, but taking a wild fantasy comic and turning it into copaganda is a Choice
Ellis is fun as Godcat in “Exploding Kittens”. The show is…uneven… but Ellis gives good Godcat voice.
She's a cop with a past. He's the literal devil. Togther, THEY FIGHT CRIME. (I bloody loved that show, fwiw)
Evil does much better in this regard and has, and I say this as a cis hetero guy, an even hotter male actor. We should do better about culturally rejecting copaganda, as in a real fight between good and evil we know theyre siding with the devil.

oh yes absolutely, there was no reason to make it a cop show, the fuck were they thinking?
I LOVE that show, but it was hard carried by the characters and the acting. Everything else was a mess. But man. What a fun mess it was to watch.
Me, watching the first episode unwarned: WTF?!? This is a... No, it can't be... Holy fuck, it is... Lucifer, an adaptation of the character from Sandman, is a cop procedural?!?! I didn't watch more episodes. I'm sure it's fine, but I ain't gonna watch cop procedurals on TV unless they're The Wire.
