Also, the general public thinks that employees are manually scheduling the refills when really it’s a computer system (refill software + inventory/ordering software) talking to other computer systems (insurance) and the employees really have very little control

Autofill also fills it on the first day that insurance will cover it and not necessarily when the person needs it :/ I think my state requires patient agreement to autofill, which is annoying when corporate wants you to increase your numbers but better for patients imo
It’s really hard to sync up multiple medications 😭 Companies keep trying to make it happen but there are too many factors (when the script was sent over, 30d v 90d v ins coverage, etc) so it usually just junks it up and people end up annoyed
