The start of The Demon 👁️ --- Just my take on what happens between the stories and the start of the game. No spoilers, made when we only had the first trailer. CW for blood #DragonAge#DragonAgeTheVeilguard#LucanisDellamorte#DragonAgeArt

Lucanis is stumbling through a dark alleyway in Tevinter, leaving behind a trail of his own blood. He has a moment of startling realization that his wounds are bleeding heavily.
He stumbles down to the ground as weakness from the blood loss claims him. As the blood pools around him and his consciousness trickles away, he remarks "Oh. I can get some sleep now."
Darkness consumes his last shred of consciousness. His eyes drift closed, he exhales. And then he is floating, drawing in a harsh breath.
Blinding light batters him and he turns to face it with a sense of foreboding. He is trapped, floating and defenseless, in the gaze of many eyes. "No, no!" he shouts as he tries to shield himself from the entity that stares down at him with nothing but cold hunger.
