True but 1/10th of the users too so you’d expect it to be much less.

Okay, listen up, it's sad I have to say this here as well as on Twitter, I thought we were a little more sophisticated here. If I follow you and your first action is to DM me with "Hello, Allan" it's an immediate block. I'm sorry but life's too short.

Happy Monday lovely freebirds. It's a bit warmer and brighter today. This is just a little reminder that you're amazing and stronger than you think. I know it's draining being strong all the time, so for those who are, I hope you don't always need to be ❤️ Have a fabulous day 🌷 #HaveCourageAndBeKind

Photo of 2 birds sitting on a bare branch with a sunset behind them. Text reads:
A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because her trust is not on the branch but on it's own wings. Always believe in yourself.

The Lords report first: the headline conclusion is that we should switch to a fixed — rather than rolling — five year debt stock target. I’d be surprised if I’m the only one of the quoted witnesses who regards this as precisely the wrong conclusion. committees.parliament.uk/committee/17...

It’s time for tough decisions to tackle our national debt - Committees - UK Parliament

The Economic Affairs Committee publishes its report ‘National debt: it’s time for tough decisions’.

As one of the witnesses quoted in the Lords report, perhaps I’m entitled to comment on the conclusions reached. The coverage of this and the OBR Fiscal Risks Report, also released last week, such as I’ve seen, is mostly as expected: alarmism plus vague assertions about difficult decisions. 1/n

In 2023, Stephen Miller confirmed a new Trump govt will seek to denaturalise immigrants. A fact-check (via MatHelman on 🐦) confirms, this is still part of Agenda 2025. Do you trust them to define "illicit means"? Because you can make anything 'illicit'. Religion, origin, mode of entry.

Yes. We started a new denaturalization project under Trump. In 2025, expect it to be turbocharged.

Appended an NYT article about the denaturalisation plans
Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise

prosecuting criminal and civil denaturalization cases, in combination with the Department of Justice, for aliens who obtained citizenship through fraud or other illicit means. Additionally, USCIS should create a criminal enforcement compo- nent within the agency to investigate immigration benefits fraud under Title 8 (perhaps requiring additional legislative and regulatory authorities for the offi- cers themselves) and to prosecute cases through Special Assistant U.S. Attorneys (SAUSAs) with substantive knowledge in the field. Particular attention should be given to addressing increasing incidents of forced labor trafficking in temporary work visa programs.
