1/2 Thank you. When I emerged from a29 day coma, I was blind and couldn’t move my legs. A LOT of therapy brought both back. When the cardiac arrest happened, I was composing a work for woodwind 5-tet, but couldn’t remember how to use the composing software for almost 6 years, but,
1 decade since I came home home from a 6 month stay in hospitals after a month long coma. 1,000’s of hours in therapy, from physical,occupational, cognitive, speech, vision,vestibular, and cardiac. This photo was taken as I left the hospital, unassisted.
Despicable.
So, NYC has a long history of corrupt mayors beyond Eric Adams. Jimmy Walker (pictured below) was famously corrupt and Van Wyke—he of the Van Wyke expressway) was once described as an administration “mired in muck and ooze”. I❤️NYC.
Look if you want to be showered with corrupt gifts from shady folks in public life, you can do it, you just have to get yourself on the Supreme Court.
