Many indie authors (like me) will even send you our books for free if you really can't afford it & ask nicely But supporting pirate sites is harmful on so many levels, especially for authors in KU whose books could be taken down entirely if Amazon finds them on pirate sites
I know a lot of you want to keep writing a book in a month. Please do! It's a great experience. If you do, DO NOT use the #nanowrimo name or hashtag in a positive way. It sucks, I know, because community is part of the experience, but it also builds NaNo HQ's brand.

Saying that people can use tools to make their work look more like that of people with economic or ability privilege, rather than to expand the scope of what you consider acceptable to include those people’s work as it exists is, ironically *highly fucking classist and ableist*.
if Nanowrimo is saying it's ok to use AI to hit your 50k in November there isn't any point doing Nanowrimo is there. IS THERE. for god's take you just rendered yourselves pointless in the stupidest way possible AND used the classist/ableist argument JUST TO MAKE IT WORSE
