Israeli air strikes on tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in a ‘humanitarian zone’ in Gaza’s al-Mawasi have killed at least 40 people, with the bombs gouging out craters up to nine metres deep. Local officials say it is ‘one of the most horrific massacres’ since the war began.
