Thanks to FEMA, help is arriving in Western NC. Photos from yesterday show the team from New York City FD and PD rescuing a family and their dogs. "The rescues occurred while conducting extensive searches of areas impacted by infrastructure collapse, downed trees, mudslides & heavy flooding."
