Good news about normal service resuming! Hopefully it hasn't cost you too much. I did a disastrous defrost of my chest freezer a couple of months ago. What should have been a couple of hours work took over ten hours & I just couldn't keep stuff frozen. Around £70 down the drain (or in the bin!)

That also sounds like no fun at all. This freezer is quite small, thankfully, and I keep telling myself it needed defrosting, anyway 😆
