Yes, I did the Christmas cooking for all the family for over 45 years. I don’t inflict myself on my kids, they have enough to do with their families and tbh I’m quite happy at home doing my own thing with Jeff, (husband not the dog) Some will come for bubble and squeak on Boxing Day

We have our meal on Christmas Eve then take a plate up to my mothers on Christmas Day but come home as quickly as possible.

Thinking back over the years the hours of cooking, washing up, shopping, I’ve done more than my fair share.

Same here. I’ve lost interest really.

Christmas can run away with itself sometimes and I think everyone would benefit from a bit of cost cutting
