That eBay one isn't floating your boat, is it?
Some of the early 20s, brummie-accented lads could use it fairly well as "relationship building". Women, esp over 35s with RP accents, can't. It breaks the flow. My winner was "My name is x, I'm calling from Y. Reason for the call? We're asking you...". Fast. To the point. Done.
I completely agree with you, and as someone who makes those calls I refuse to say that "how are you today?"line. I chose it as my Hill To Die on with the last job, and indeed I died on it (they fired me, even though I was one of the highest scoring call agents).
Dm'ing you x
That looks glorious! Do you what cheese they are, or just a variety of gorgeousness?
So, I've declined another invite to the two week pathway of doom. Genuinely prefer to live in the moment. That said, I get blood tests often and know them inside out. New one has appeared - CA125. Had to Google it. Oh. We're doing that now, are we?
It was...disheartening. It's framed around the circumstances that hindered them. You walk through 400 years of women's art being more & more diminished. Really needed to add some contemporary success stories. www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tat...
Went to the Women's Art exhibition at Tate Britain today. I got slammed into a wall by one bloke in a Tate uniform, and another stool beside me doing loud, theatrical yawning whilst I looked at Marianne Stoke's painting.

Actually, I think it's very much in the right direction. No-one would look closely at the stitching whilst you're wearing it, the colour is a nice contrast, it's more professional that a basic square. I think it's rather nice.
No spoilers please, but is Only Murders any good? I felt it was diminishing returns last season, so notsure whether to bother.
