Is there a less-used feature on eCommerce websites than the 'Sort by Price: Highest-to-Lowest' option?
For the new twitter friends, here are two of my favorite things about bluesky: 1) if you block someone, they vanish. If they QTd you, it just says "blocked". Nuclear block stops trolls. They hate it. 2) If someone QTs you & you don't like it, you can detach your post from theirs. BRILLIANT TBH?
Some dudes walking out said they hated it though. Make of that what you will!
And I really enjoyed Nightbitch. Audience laughed, groaned and gasped at right moment. TW for cat lovers, there are a couple of bad scenes for cat/s. Had no idea Scoot McNairy was in it. I skipped red carpet but @explodey.bsky.social walked it close to Amy!!
Joy was great, recommend it when it streams (I think it’s a Netflix film), the fight behind the first IVF baby, great cast, almost archetypal British film!)
Today’s LFF schedule is The Apprentice and then Queer. My latest night out while catsitting. But also leaving later today so hopefully Truffle will forgive me. Then just We Live in Time tomorrow and deciding whether to prioritise Transformers One or Wild Robot at local cinema Friday night.
Tomorrow seeing The Apprentice and Queer. And then Friday, We Live in Time and back to local cinema for Transformers or Wild Robot. Should do both but Truffle!! Might do one Sat but also my sister gets home then so feels antisocial. Then lol, Batman Unmasked on Sat!
Today is Joy and Nightbitch. I ended up selling Surprise film ticket since I just want to get home to Truffle. Wish I’d got Conclave tickets to bridge between the two films. But they were sold out and not sure I want to queue for returns!
In spirit of LFF, I joined local cinema (you get 5 free tickets) and went to see A Different Man. Wasn’t sure what to expect and it’s just a solid film, examining all kinds of identity things. Great performances. Had to look away at gross bits.
Covid jab floored me this week (in terms of arm pain). Out all day so hoping truffle will be ok (am catsitting while doing LFF)
