Attacking people instead of owning up to your mistakes is easier. And you don't need technical skill to start a politically-fueled fork that rides the hate train (it's one button).
Also in case you're curious, the release is just Godot 4.4 with an awful looking UI reskin (it's dark with angry red accents because ofc it is) and they merged 2 pull requests that Godot is in the process of most likely merging
3/2 You'd think they'd get humbled and back down but no. Bioblaze (the dev reposting a ton of racist and right-wing stuff who also got kicked out recently) responded and was not backing down and continued insulting developers. Which is probably what got him kicked out.
2/2 the amount of pull requests the branch just gets rebased. So this resulted in the project getting clapback by people who know how git works calling them out for trying to manage a fork without knowing basic git functionality.
