We're reading about dieting and diet culture for school this week and I am not okay
Job instability means I can't justify the expense of classes for Spring and Summer terms. Instead I'm going to do a personal project! Or even two! 👏
My beau took the rest to work to save me from myself and let other people enjoy them haha
Cranberry bars were made as my stress baking! And I finished up the preserved lemon prep I started. Much excite
Well I ugly cried at work today and I'm also on a budget so this girlie pop is making her bad day sweet treats at home 🫠
No amount of overly rehearsed town halls, explainer emails, or forced excitement about the future makes sitting with layoffs feel good or better. It actually feels WAY worse, especially when broad monetary success is lauded.
If I made a blog or video essay series on how games affect culture and are fueled by culture, would anyone be interested? It's a big topic of interest for me but the university has been less than supportive.
If I took next term off I'd want to make something instead. Like a Twine game or a set of TTRPG campaigns or something. It's VERY tempting.
Reading about industrialized agriculture for school this week. As if I still needed to be radicalized 😂
Being in school these last couple of terms has been weird. Almost makes me feel like the year prior of school was an emotional crutch that I don't need anymore and so don't find the same fulfillment in it.
