yeah, it's annoying but it's not too hard to get a telegram set up with a burner phone number. Or if you have another app you prefer id be willing to try it out :)

just pattern matching on post content would be tough. Pattern matching display names and profile descriptions would find any sort of content from a lot of zoos. If you ran your own service things like sentiment analysis could find positive posts mentioning a given topic which is pretty interesting

hmm you can definitely pull all posts and the post objects definitely have the authors name and profile text in the json but skyfeed only lets you regex match on the post content itself right now so can't do it through them yet. Drat

Thanks for sharing! I didn't know how flexible feeds were. I wonder if it's possible to have a feed that showed all posts by users with a zeta or certain keyword's in their profile and not rely on zoo follow lists. It would be like its own platform and help with discoverability.

haven't checked it out yet but i'll give it a look!

I like what I see on bsky but since it won't be getting DMs it makes it so clunky to get to know people. making real connections relies a lot on zoos introducing each other.
