It's debate night! The plan at our house: I'll be weilding a lightsaber on my Playstation and my spouse will be painting at her art class. Debates are meaningless. The press coverage of them is even worse than their usual coverage. Pay attention to the issues and not the debate. Register. Vote.
I'm aware of it but I am counterscheduled when it is happening so I won't be in attendance. That said, I don't think it's a secret that I am voting for Harris/Walz this year, or that I encourage every US citizen 18 and up to do so as well.
While I'm aware that @levgrossman.bsky.social does not need my help I follow enough writers who remind readers to talk about books they enjoy to feel the need to say that I finished The Bright Sword tonight and very much enjoyed it. First Arthurian story I've read in a long while too.
