When it was revealed Geordi had rebuilt the enterprise D I was like. "FUCKING BULL SHIT! I'm done I'm done!"
I remember Law and Order in the 90s was actually fairly on the right track untill 9/11 and suddenly we have detective Ferria beating up war protesters and making someone confess with a gun to their head
Some nostalgia is good but man that last episode had me rolling my eyes so bad it sounded like a fan fiction
The big problem I have with discovery is ... Who are all of these people when there is not a serialized story going on? What do they do in their free time?
And I think filler episodes do a great job of fleshing out character and inserting new bits of lore about the characters. With low episode count serialized seasons I get no real read on the characters as people rather than play devices
Here's the thing though sometimes the "filler" episodes are really good Star Trek's filler episodes in particular are some of of its best
So in their world was watership down a life action movie?
My work life balance has been restored so no I'm back to streaming every Monday and Friday! Right now I'm replying Batman Arkham Asylum and will be until it's done or Shadow of the Erd Tree comes out
