We had quite a kerfuffle here a few years back with thousands of people getting to work an hour early and wondering where everyone was. Their phone system hadn’t taken into account that there’s no daylight saving in Queensland.
I write in scenes and divide them into chapters at the end. Every scene should start with a hook and end with a cliffhanger, so… they also work as chapter openings etc. I’ve had 250 word chapters and 3000 words or so as well.
Thankfully she’s staying calm despite the burglary.
How interesting, Tony. I remember doing a paper on the Anzac legend/myth of WWI when I was at university and letters home were a large part of my sources. I’ve also used my own past emails for memoir research. So many incidental details.

Years ago, my accountant accidentally put in my tax return that I was a bus driver instead of a book editor. Maybe he’s related to your optometrist? 🤔
I put one in a book, so that helps me remember 😅 I thought they were a nuisance when I travelled there many years ago, but later when I went back to hike, I liked them. Very intelligent and sociable birds 😊 (I'm talking about the kea - haven't seen the other one except in videos)
