I’m a ttrpg publisher and author, and I have never heard this term…

When I was a kid, I adored looking through GW catalogs. I would envision what it would be like to have those minis and experience those victories or nuanced defeats. Back then, I accepted victory and defeat as secondary to looking awesome.

I feel like the spirit of creativity and joy for new things pivoted in the face of American legal culture, found a new place in copyleft and creative commons, and then found an entirely new enemy in “AI.”

And old White Dwarf too, back when both publications were just making cool content for everything, and not worrying about intellectual property or other such nonsense.
