I was trying to decide if I want my rook to be a blonde or a black haired elf. On one hand blonde with his hair down really gives me present mic vibes, but I feel like that he could easily be mistaken as zevran inspired; which love zev, but not what I want. So, black hair may be it!
I think I'm gonna vibe on bsky for a week or so while people get the most recent doom and gloom about datv out of thier systems. Like I kinda get it but is the 180 completely nessecary? Ugh. I wanna draw more concepts of my rook I'm super hype for him, he's gonna be named Camille, and is cute elf.
Mostly because I only have headshots and a general body type decided on rn.
Tfw i don't know what facial scaring is avaliable for customizing in veilgaurd but I also don't know how to search to see if anyone covered that without finding grifters. But that said I've made progress on my first rook design. I'm so excited to play him on spooky day!!. Will post pics l8r.
I see a lot of writers using AI art for their blog posts and promotional materials instead of paying real artists, using public domain stock images, or going without. That guarantees I'll never buy that person's stuff or boost the signal for them. You shouldn't either.
Unrelated to my art, I'm really enjoying the podcast series vows and vengeance from dragon age veilgaurd stuff. At first, I was unsure if I would die to it being a pod cast and me needing subtitles to actually keep up, but I found it on their YouTube page with subs. Accessible and fun!
I have created more! I'm almost done with another character bust up reference image. I've been having such fun sketching my elves and thier variations and then coloring it. Learned a bit with the drow. Will post when finished finished. The old design with the new one this is meant to match to
