Just realised why BCZF sounded familiar & had to lament again the demise of Bristol Comic & Zine Fair. Never made it before the end but it sounds like everything this Brighton fair hopes to be. This is now a memorial fair. Long live BCZF š¤ BCZF shall be reborn ā¤ļøāš„
Whoop! Nice to have you here. Love the table setup. Might have another place for you to table one dayā¦
Finally joined the blue butterfly app! Hereās me last Saturday doing Arthole in Cardiff! Had a fun fun time!
I posted this yesterday but it was a bank holiday so I post again, comics return to badmachinery.com on June 17th with a new Solver story, "100% Cuddles".
Beauty personified. Oh to be so elegantly long.
This is incredible work & should be read by everyone. Big recommend.
Itās Monday and once again I am telling you about the Comic con I am running in August in Leeds. Spread the word If youāre a comic creator please consider filling out this form and joining my artistic celebration: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...
I cannot overstate how important this is. If an event makes an effort to be inclusive of, and accessible to, people from a variety of backgrounds, it is so much more appealing to me. Yes, it's about hearing from people with diverse perspectives - but it's also about feeling safe in the space.
Couldnāt agree more Kieran. Weāre aiming for inclusive, accessible & a focus on Small Press / Local & Marginalised Creators. There will be info soon on how to get involved. Any suggestions on creating safe environments will be greatly welcomed.
Pretty unimpressed by a con this weekend with, what looks like, only 3-4 guests that are not male & an average age of *55. 3-4 Out of 34 Guests. In 2024. BCZF will be the opposite of this. *Being extremely generous here
