when I read and/or use people’s books and papers in my work I also never shut up about them. very effective short-hand for the volume of people some of us get introduced to but can’t stay in relationship with.

cynicism is a monster of a blocker to getting out of this era
the things that have to happen next have much less to do with truth than they have to do with relationships
this does things to democracy and the potential for self-governance that don’t fit into the mis and dis info buckets
used to already think this of the 24 hour news cycle, but this is next level grim.

think one of the darker things on Twitter that I began to notice was the amount of genuinely violent clips that circulate as “funny” or “jokey” content. really brews some awful ways of thinking of others.
