It was doubly gutting 'cos Zica's toys looked fucking amazing, and certainly stood apart from the other O-Ring toy Kickstarters
Oh it's very much a "I don't have room for this" decision. I have the Haslab H.I.S.S. using up way too much space already and need to find room for the Skeletron Roboskull!
Zica are weird. They've done some cracking toys but then an O-Ring figure Kickstarter that failed. It was the only O-Ring Kickstarter I've seen that hasn't managed to make it. But one thing they did was only ship to the US, which I can't imagine helped as there's a shit ton of GI Joe fans worldwide.
Not gonna drop $330 on a 3ft long Space 1999 Eagle, but my current obsession with O-Ring figures had me pledging for the Astronaut set 😅 www.kickstarter.com/projects/172...
A reimagining of the Space:1999 Eagle Playset toy initially released by Mattel in 1976.
When I went to post this I flagged it for nudity and the auto moderation added "sexually suggestive" and you know I think that was definitely more accurate.
say what you will about gustav holst that mother fucker knew exactly what planets sound like
This graph is astonishing. The people that bang on about “natural birth” and “women have been doing this forever without help” need to be forced to stare at this until their eyes water.
