Happy 4th of July!
Alright. Time to get back to business as usual* *Please make sure to rest and recuperate after major surgeries. That IS your business as usual until you are healed.

Here's someone much more qualified than me making the exact same statements, minus the being on post surgery pain meds. Go read what Emily is saying here.
Why does this matter? Because historically, in the US, there /is/ a long history of US security agencies targeting and disrupting left wing movements. So the misconception that "federal employment means the FBI can make sense of and cares about who is sub tweeting who", you just freak people out.
If this describes you, I am BEGGING YOU to look into how intelligence agencies actually work, how common federal employment is, and how utterly inept the CIA has historically been at the types of operations spy fiction and US rivals believe it to be masters at.
It is 2024, 10 years since GG, more than that since Anonymous blew up, and ppl legitimately think that one person in a situation being employed by a federal agency _as a contractor_ (consider: the federal government is a HUGE employer) means that they salute the flag & walk into a war room everyday
So anyway, those are some of my thoughts on transitioning.
