Why is it that people who say "you're only as old as you feel" can only accept negative aging? I feel 80. My 80 year old aunt feels 60. Only one of these feelings seems to be valid.

What I love about thunderstorms is how humbled I feel. I imagine I don't have any of the things that keep us safe from them, that I'm alone and unprotected from the elements. How different my perspective would be. I try to imagine what the storm would be like if I didn't know the science of it.
I'm visiting family. They've been surprisingly supportive. And there's a thunderstorm. An actual thunderstorm with rain!!!!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW EXCITING THAT IS?!
