I think it had a pink harness or a pink ribbon in its hair around its neck? At the time, the gay press were highlighting a mainstream trend about gay serial killers (like Basic Instinct) that wasn’t acknowledged by the mainstream.
A pink poodle? That’s a 1950s’ stereotype for comic books FFS. I wasn’t a fan as soon as I saw it in the cinema!
